A Figment of Existence

Alex struggles with the sudden loss of his best friend, his denial causing him to see visions of her around the house.

Tackling the complexities of grief, A Figment of Existence is a poignant film that calls for costumes which exemplify this experience, juxtaposed with the characters’ outfits before the tragedy. Also representing the protagonist’s visions of his late friend, I used pale, spectral styles to exemplify his idealised version of her.
