About Me
From a young age, my love of fashion history and passion for costume creation inspired me to pursue costume design for screen. Studying practical filmmaking has shown me the conventions of the practice, while I have simultaneously honed my skills as a seamstress and concept artist.

Experience and Skillset
I have combined experience in wardrobe and garment construction, proficient in machine and hand-sewing, and a reliable bookkeeper when entrusted with the budget. I am also an asset on-set, overseeing my department and always on standby for the next costume change.
Creative Process
My creative process begins with thorough analysis of a screenplay, always seeking to understand the characters and working closely with the director to ensure that our visions are aligned and accurate to the story. This is followed by research, primary costume drafts, and finally the completed designs, which I will either purchase or create depending on the demands of the project.
Generative AI Statement
It is my personal belief that any use of generative AI in filmmaking detracts from the artistic integrity of the project, perpetrates the theft of art used in training the AI, and removes the gratification in creating art. As such, I can guarantee that none of my work is made with (or aided by) generative AI, but instead through a personalised process involving intensive research, hand-drawn mock ups, digital impressions, and - most crucially - a soul.
