Balletomane

When a gifted but burnt out dancer is at the brink of ending her promising dance career, a new force enters her life, pushing her to experience her full potential, but at the cost of losing control.

Balletomane is a high-octane psychological drama exploring identity, commitment, and the all-consuming power of competitive drive. A simultaneously intense and thoroughly enjoyable project, I was tasked to provide a number of contemporary ballet costumes that feel ‘athletic’ and explore the notion of limerance, with the two lead characters ‘absorbing’ each other’s personalities through their clothing.
